  • Melon fly management in cucurbits by using relatively less toxic chemicals and botanicals in Andamans
  • Coconut Rhinoceros beetle management by using Sime RB pheromone traps in Andamans
  • Discovered the presence of yet another rice stem borer, the white stem borer with already existing yellow and pink stem borers in Andamans
  • Surveyed for dacine fruit fly fauna of Andamans as well as Nicobars; consisted of over 12 dacine species some of them economically important (Quarantine) pests for Andaman & Nicobar Islands
  • Conducted IPM schools for farmers (Yellow stem borer management in rice) in collaboration with Central Integrated Pest Management centre in south Andamans
  • Brought out a technical bulletin highlighting major insect pests and their natural enemies of agri-horti-silvicultural plants of Andaman & Nicobar Islands
  • Artificial diet to rear gherkin fruit borer Diaphania indica
  • Evaluation of pheromones for the management of brinjal shoot & fruit borer in collaboration with IICT, Hyderabad
  • Mass multiplication of Thrips palmi- a vector of watermelon Bud necrosis Virus (WBNV)
  • Fruit fly fauna of underutilized fruits
  •  House dust mite and Stored food product acarine taxonomy
