The special talk and prize distribution of Vigilance Awareness Week programme was organized at ICAR-IIHR, Bengaluru at 3 November 2017. The programme was presided over by Dr. M.R. Dinesh, Director, ICAR-IIHR, Bangalore. Dr. R. L. Deepak, Additional Commissioner, Income Tax (Hq) (Adm), Karnataka and Goa region was chief guest at this occasion. Dr. C. K. Narayana, I/c PME and Chairman Vigilance week celebration committee welcomed the chief guest and all other dignitaries. In his talk, the chief guest described various types of vigilance cases and how to deal with vigilance cases. He also pointed out the formulation of measures such as RTI, citizen charter and Lokayukta etc are important milestones to check the malpractices in our system .
Dr M R. Dinesh, Director, ICAR-IIHR that the the self vigilance, self control and internal purity is most important to make the society free from all types of ill practices. He urged all the staff members to follow self vigilance, self control and internal purity in their day to day life to make build a strong and corruption free system, society and nation . Thereafter the prize was distrusted by chief guests to all the winner of the Essays and slogan competitions organized during the week
The programme ended with vote of thanks by Dr. P. C. Tripathi, Vigilance officer, ICAR- IIHR, Bangalore.
