ICAR-Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR) participated in exhibition of ICAR-IIHR technologies from 31st March to 2nd April 2022, at Nagatihalli Samskrutika Habba, Nagati halli, Mandya dist. It was an exhibition on Horticulture, Health camps of Govt. of Karnataka, Cultural programmes, felicitations to medical faculty and facilitated interaction between the researchers , farmers and other stakeholders.
ICAR-IIHR participated in the exhibition and displayed the advanced technologies of ICAR-IIHR. Technologies pertaining to vegetables, ornamental crops, integrated crop management of horticulture crops, post-harvest technologies, seeds and nutrient formulations and technologies of ATIC were displayed through live specimens and products etc. for the benefit of the visitors. ICAR-IIHR stall attracted more than 300 farmers, students, officials and media from nearby villages. This programme was coordinated by Dr T M Reddy, and Mr. V.Sashi kumar and Mr.H.J.Venkatesh assisted in organising exhibition from Division of Social Sciences and Training, ICAR-IIHR.
We also visited multiple fruit orchard growing Gauva, Sapota, Siddu Jack, water apple, Carambola and other fruits at Nagati halli.
