A capacity building programme was organized on 8th September, 2022 for the horticulturists of Mudigere. Dr. A.T. Krishnamurthy, Programme Coordinator, KVK, Mudigere extended a warm welcome to all the participants. Dr. R. Venkattakumar spoke about the importance of adoption of ICAR-IIHR technologies. Dr. R. Senthil Kumar gave a talk about fruit crop technologies suitable for Chikkamagaluru district. Dr. V. Sankar, spoke about vegetable technologies that are suitable for Chikkamagaluru District. Apart from farmers, members and office bearers of FPOs also participated in the meeting (50). Inputs such as Arka Vegetable seed kits, Arka Vegetable Special and black pepper planting material Arka Coorg Excel were distributed to the farmers. Dr. Girish, SMS, KVK, Mudigere delivered a formal vote of thanks. The progarmme was coordinated by Dr. V. Sankar, Dr. R. Senthil kumar and Dr. R. Venkattakumar of Division of Social Sciences and Training, ICAR-IIHR, Bengaluru.
