ICAR-IIHR conducted three Collaborative Training Programmes in association with National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) Hyderabad in June 2022. The first Collaborative Refresher training Programme was on “Opportunities for Value addition in Horticulture for established Agripreuners under ACABC” organized through online mode during 15-17, June 2022. This programme was co-ordinated by Dr. V. K. Jayaraghavendra Rao, Principal Scientist, Division of Social Sciences and Training, Dr. C. K. Narayana, Principal Scientist and Head, Division of Post Harvest Technology and Agricultural Engineering and Dr. R. Venkattakumar, Principal Scientist and Head (I/c), Division of Social Sciences and Training.
The Second Collaborative Refresher Training Programme was organized during 20-22 June, 2022 on “Extension for Horticultural Technologies” through online mode. This programme was co-ordinated by Dr. V. K. Jayaraghavendra Rao, Principal Scientist, Division of Social Sciences and Training and Dr. R. Venkattakumar, Principal Scientist and Head (I/c), Division of Social Sciences and Training.
The third collaborative Training Programme was on “Mentoring and Promoting Horti start-ups” during 28 to 30 June 2022 organized through online mode. About 65 participants have attended the training programme. This programme was co-ordinated by Dr. V. K. Jayaraghavendra Rao, Principal Scientist, Division of Social Sciences and Training, Dr. C. K. Narayana, Principal Scientist and Head, Division of Post Harvest Technology and Agricultural Engineering and Dr. R. Venkattakumar, Principal Scientist and Head (I/c), Division of Social Sciences and Training.
