The valedictory and prize distribution ceremony of Hindi Fortnight was organized on 28 September 2022 under the chairpersonship of Dr. Debi Sharma, Director, ICAR-IIHR, Bengaluru, with Smt. Seema Chopra, Director (OL), ICAR, New Delhi, as the Chief Guest. At the outset, Dr. Anil Kumar Nair welcomed and introduced the chief guest to the audience. As our country is celebrating Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsava, the Chief Guest urged the need to propagate Hindi by adopting popular words from regional languages and work in Hindi using simple words. The Chairperson mentioned that the work in Hindi in the Institute is being done according to the target and urged the staff to increase the work further. Chief Administrative Officer (SG) Shri G.G. Harakangi, while indicating the constitutional obligation to work in Hindi, called the staff to increase the work in Hindi by using small noting and to do correspondence mostly in Hindi. Shri. Jagadeesan, Deputy Director (OL) coordinated the program and Dr. Ravi Bhushan Tiwari, proposed a formal vote of thanks.
