Description: | Mango fruit is an excellent source of Vitamin-A. Both mango and mango products are popular in India and are also in demand in many foreign countries. Papaya is grown almost throughout the country and it is a good source of Vitamin-C. Papaya fruits can be processed into many products. But very often, papaya nectar, squash or ready to serve (RTS) beverages are not liked by many people due to peculiar flavour which develops after processing. Therefore, by blending mango with papaya, the overall acceptability of the papaya juice can be improved with an added advantage of improvement in Vitamin-C content of mango blend. | |
