Central Horticultural Experiment Station, Bhubaneswar participated in an exhibition on 28th February, 2020 organised by ICAR-National Rice Research Institute, Cuttack during National workshop on “Rice Research and Development for Doubling Farmers’ Income”. The exhibition was inaugurated by Hon’ble Vice- Chancellor of Odisha University of Agriculture & Technology, Dr. Pawan Kumar Agarwal. Selected horticultural technologies of CHES, Bhubaneswar and IIHR, Bengaluru were displayed in form of live samples, posters and published materials. Dr. P.K. Agarwal appreciated the work done by the station and the efforts taken by the centre for development of farming community. The CHES stall was visited by distinguished dignitaries, scientists, academicians and students. Visitors interacted with the scientist and technical assistants and showed great interest in getting the planting materials of released varieties of fruits and vegetables from CHES. The exhibition was coordinated by Dr. Deepa Samant, Scientist with the support of Sri B.C. Patra, STA and Sri H. Bindhani, SSS.
