An entrepreneurial training program on “Mushroom spawn production and Mushroom cultivation” was organized by Mushroom Lab, Division of Crop Protection, ICAR-IIHR, Bengaluru during 17th to 19th January 2023 and 22nd to 26th May 2023. A total of 36 participants including 9 women entrepreneurs, from the states of Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Goa, Puducherry and Himachal Pradesh. Advance end to end Hands on training on various aspects of Mushroom spawn production, Mushroom cultivation, Mushroom processing and value addition, Mechanization and energy management in mushroom farms, ancillary activities associated with mushroom industry and utilization of mushroom technology as a social enterprise ere imparted to the participants.
