An off campus training (12 and 13 of August, 2021) on “ICAR-IIHR Technologies Suitable for Development of Entrepreneurship" was organized at The Bethel-Agricultural Fellowship Institute (August 12, 2021), Danish pet, Salem District and at farmers group meeting held at Pollachi, Coimbatore District of Tamil Nadu. During these programs, Dr. R. Senthil Kumar, Principal Scientist, Division of Social Sciences and Training delivered a lecture on "Fruit and Post-Harvest technologies of ICAR-IIHR". Further he explained in field about canopy management in mango, sapota and guava ‘Arka Kiran’ for getting more fruit yield per tree. Dr. V. Sankar, Principal Scientist, Division of Social Sciences and Training ICAR-IIHR, explained on "New varieties and hybrids and technologies of vegetable crops" and requested the farmers to implement various IIHR technologies at their field to create more awareness about new varieties among fellow farmers and improve their farm income. More than 35 participants attended both the programs including farmers, entrepreneurs and students. These programme were coordinated by Dr. V. Sankar, Principal Scientist and Dr R. Senthil Kumar, Principal Scientist, Division of Social Science and Training, ICAR-IIHR, Bangalore.
