ICAR- Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR) participated in the Mega Kisan mela, organized at CPCRI research centre, Kidu, during 19th to 23rd November 2022, wherein advanced technologies of ICAR-IIHR pertaining to fruits, vegetables, ornamental crops, post-harvest technologies and technologies of IIHR supported by ATIC were displayed through posters, live specimens and literature etc. for the benefit of the visitors.
IIHR stall attracted more than 20,000 visitors’ viz., farmers, entrepreneurs, students, teachers, officials of Agricultural university & ICAR, department of Agriculture and Horticulture, policy makers and scientists of Karnataka and Kerala. ICAR-IIHR secured “Second best stall award among government category”. This programme was coordinated by Dr. T. M. Reddy and assisted by Mr. V.Cheluva Raju.
