ICAR-Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR) participated in Krishi Mela during 6th -7th December, 2019 at V.C Farm, Mandya. It was an exhibition on agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry and farmers technologies for facilitating interaction between the researchers, farmers and entrepreneurs of farming sector
ICAR-IIHR participated in the Exhibition and displayed the advanced technologies of ICAR-IIHR. Technologies pertaining to fruits, vegetables, ornamental crops, post-harvest technologies, technologies of IIHR promoted by ATIC were displayed through posters, live specimens and literature etc. for the benefit of the visitors. ICAR-IIHR stall attracted more than 1,00,000 visitors from Mandya and other districts of Karnataka viz. farmers, entrepreneurs, students, teachers, officials of university, department of Agriculture and Horticulture and scientists. This programme was coordinated by Dr. T M Reddy, Dr. M.Senthil Kumar and Mr. V.Shashi kumar assisted in organising exhibition from ICAR-IIHR.
