ICAR-Indian Institute of Horticultural Research, Bengaluru brought laurels with over all championship in South Zone Inter-Institutional Sports Tournament held at NAARM, Hyderabad during 22-25 November 2022 with a total of 90 points. ICAR-IIHR Won medals in athletics track and field events both Men and Women categories. In women category, medals were won in 100 M. and 200 M. Race, 4 x 100 M. Relay, Javelin Throw, Discuss throw, Shot put, Badminton (Singles & Doubles), Table Tennis and in Men’s category, medals were won in 200 M. and 400 M. Race, 4 x 100 M. Relay, Shot Put, Discus throw, Kabaddi, Volley ball (Shooting), Badminton. Dr. G.R. Smitha and Shri Jagadeesan were Chief-De-Mission and Manager, respectively.
