Research Accomplishments: 

Achievements (during the Period of 2019-2023)  

Currently working on breeding and improvement of Capsicum and Cluster bean for yield, quality, biotic and abiotic stress tolerance. Some of her research accomplishments include i) Optimization of temperature for Temperature Induction Response (TIR) study in Capsicum for the first time. ii) identification of two donors for high heat tolerance in Capsicum. Iii) Identification of potential donor for  powdery mildew resistance in cluster bean. iv) Standardization of crossing methodology in cluster bean. v) Developed one superior vegetable cluster bean line with string less pods, high yield, quality and nutritional value.
