Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanathananda Maha Swamiji, Adichunchanagiri Maha Samsthana Math of B.G.S Trust visited ICAR-IIHR on 6th October, 2020. Swamiji interacted with the Director and I/c PME Cell regarding the possibilities of having a MoU with ICAR-IIHR. He showed keen interest in development of nutri garden at various BGS Schools in collaboration with ICAR-IIHR. He also visited mushroom laboratory and appreciated various products developed like mushroom soup, rasam powder and chutney powder which are protein and vitamin rich. Swamiji also had discussion regarding establishing spawn production units under BGS institutes and also expressed his interest to visit ICAR-IIHR during NHF-2021.
