The ICAR-Indian Institute of Horticultural Research, Bengaluru participated and won award in “All India Farmers Fair and Agro IndustryExhibition held at Chandra Shekar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology,Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) from 8th to 10 October 2023. In kisan mela, various ICAR-IIHR technologies were showcased like Fresh samples of Under-utilized fruits (Bael, Egg fruit, Soursop), high yielding Arka Guava and Papaya varieties, flower varieties (Arka Prajwal and Arka Keerthana in Tuberose and Arka Savi in Rose), medicinal crop (Centella – Arka Prabhavi and Arka Divya), dry mushroom products and technologies, post-harvest products (squash, fruit bars, dry fruit slices, jackolate, jackfruit seed powder chapathi mix, jack fruit seed powder, etc.), and nutrient management technologies like micronutrient specials, Arka Microbial Consortium, Arka Actino Plus, Arka Sasya Poshak Ras, etc. All displayed technologies were well appreciated by farmers and visitors.
