Capacity building programme on “Fruit and vegetable technologies” and input distribution was organized by ICAR-IIHR at Heggadadevanakota taluk of Mysore District as part of TSP programme at Tribal Raitharsangh, H.D.Kota on 06.12.2023. Dr V.Sankar and Dr.R. Senthilkumar, ICAR-IIHR, Bangalore briefed the importance of ICAR-IIHR developed fruit and vegetable technologies suitable for H.D.Kote taluk of Mysore district for commercial cultivation. The distribution of ICAR-IIHR developed inputs like vegetable seeds, Arka microbial consortia (AMC) and vegetable micronutrient special, planting material of mango and guava was done to the identified tribal beneficiaries. This programme was attended by more than 35 SC/ST farmers. This program was coordinated by Dr.V.Sankar and Dr.R. Senthilkumar.
