Objective:
- To generate awareness among rural women and men farmers on the potential use of bio-agents and production of bio-agent colonized seedlings.
- To standardize the strategies for the production of bio-agent colonized seedlings of horticultural crops (Capsicum, cauliflower, cabbage, papaya, root stocks of pomegranate and guava, tissue culture banana seedlings).
- To take up mass production of bio-agents (Paecilomyces lilacinus, Pseudomonas fluorescens, VAM-- Glomus mosseae, Glomus fasiculatum).
- To conduct fifteen training programme and train the rural women (1125 women farmers) in the production of bio-agent colonized seedlings and motivating them to take up the production use these seedlings in their fields.
- To establish linkages between rural women, NGOs and other agencies

Achievements:
a) Developed methods for the production of bio-agent and mycorrhizal colonized seedling of vegetable crops (capsicum, tomato).
b) Conducted training programmes empowering women farmers to take up mycorrhizal seedling production.
