Achievements (during the Period of 2019-2023)
- Development of e-Extension models to reach the unreached for soil salinity knowledge management in India: The development of video scripts for creation of videos was done and selection of e-extension channels was taken care for dissemination of video series. The video production work as well as editing work has been completed for different episodes of Lavaneeya Mitti Samachar of ICAR-CSSRI, Karnal.
- Sensitizing farmers to the benefits of converting waste into wealth through climate smart agriculture practices (CSAPs) in rice-wheat system of Haryana: Development of Statements for awareness scale to measure the level of knowledge improved due to project interventions was done at ICAR-CSSRI, Karnal..
- Impact assessment of salt tolerant wheat variety KRL210 in salt affected regions: Preparation of schedules for the data collection was done and planning for survey, Conducted field visits to Gudda farm to assess the impact of CSSRI technologies. Collection of secondary data was carried out at ICAR-CSSRI, Karnal.
- Member in formation of CSSRI Navya Mahila Self help group at Buddenpur Village, Haryana through ICAR-CSSRI, Karnal.
- Development of database and program modules for horticultural crops: The cultivation database has been redeveloped in Kannada language to cater the needs of local farmers at ICAR-IIHR, Bengaluru
- Assessment of horticultural-based farming system for enhancing profitability of small and marginal farmers: To enhance the profitability of small and marginal farmers by integrated farming systems through horticultural interventions in two districts of Karnataka viz., Kolar and Ramanagara, demonstration was undertaken in each district eight villages (4 treatments + 4 controls) were selected and 48 demonstration technologies were introduced from ICAR-IIHR, Bengaluru
- Capacity Analysis of Selected FPOs and promotion of Horticultural Technologies through FPOs has been taken up through ICAR-IIHR, Bengaluru.
- Organized Online Discussion Meeting of ICAR Task Force Committee for Agro Climatic Zone X by ICAR-IIHR, Bengaluru as a Co-Nodal officer for TFC
