- Characterized the horny melon (Cucumis metuliferous) for nutritional and other traits.
- Characterized the wild Allium species for male sterility and male fertility restorer traits
- Identified male sterile lines (CMS-S cytoplasm) and their corresponding maintainer counter parts in onion (Allium cepa L.) open pollinated populations.
- Identified male sterile CMS-S cytoplasm in Allium fistulosum L. germplasm collections.
- Standardized the meristem culture, in-vitro media, thermotherapy techniques for virus free garlic production in in-vitro
