Achievements: 
  • Seven intergeneric progenies from the cross C.papaya var.Arka Surya X V. cauliflora (R5P16, R6P16, R7P16, R14P7, R17P16, R19P1 and R35P10) tolerant to ‘PRSV’from a population of 1008 progenies were selected and sibmated. These progenies recorded a fruit weight in the range of 622-1024.8 g, TSS of 9.2 to 12.36oB, cavity index of 3.83 to 20.5%.
