One day training program on “ICAR-IIHR technologies” for the farmers of Etah district of Uttar Pradesh was organised under SCSP 1 May 2023 and Leh, Union Territory of Ladak under TSP on 4 May 2023, to create awareness among the farmers about ICAR-IIHR technologies suitable for their region. Dr. R. Senthil Kumar, Principal Scientist and Nodal Officer (SCSP) explained about various ICAR-IIHR technologies suitable for these regions and ICAR-IIHR developed vegetable seed (Tomato) and Arka tomato crush were distributed to the identified beneficiaries. These programmes were attended by 60 farmers, officials from KVK, Awagarh, and 30 farm womens, officials from KVK, Leh, and coordinated by Dr. R. Senthil Kumar, Dr.S.Bhuvaneswari, Division of Post Harvest Technology and Agricultural Engineering, ICAR-IIHR, Bangalore, Dr. Neeraj, Scientist, KVK, Awagath, ETah, District of Uttar Pradesh and Dr. Feroz Senior Scientist and Head , KVK, Leh, Union Territory of Ladak.
