An entrepreneurial training program on Mushroom spawn production and Mushroom cultivation was organized by Mushroom Lab, Division of Crop Protection during 3rd-12th, January 2024. About 42 trainees from different states (Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Goa, Haryana and Maharashtra) participated in the programme. The group included 10 women entrepreneurs. The paricipants were given advance end to end Hands on training on various aspects of Mushroom spawn production, Mushroom cultivation, Mushroom processing and value addition, mechanization and energy management in mushroom farms, ancillary activities associated with mushroom industry and utilization of mushroom technology as a social enterprise.
